Jacob Thulesius

Jacob Thulesius has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jacob is currently working as a Legal Counsel at Alight since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Legal Counsel Financing & Treasury at Heimstaden from February 2021 to September 2022. In this role, they handled financial matters and played a key role in managing a large debt portfolio.

From August 2016 to February 2021, Jacob worked as a Legal Associate at Mannheimer Swartling, focusing on transactional law in the areas of Banking & Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions. During this time, they gained experience in real estate and renewable energy project finance, as well as tech startup M&A.

Before this, Jacob ran their own one-man business as an Accounting Consultant and freelance musician from December 2009 to August 2016. In addition, they worked as a Student Teacher at Lunds universitet from August 2014 to June 2016, and as a Summer Associate at Advokatfirman Vinge in June and July 2015.

Earlier in their career, Jacob co-founded the band Bowties and worked as a guitar teacher at Växjö Kulturskola from July 2010 to March 2011. Jacob also worked as an Apple Sales Professional at MacHuset AB from September 2010 to July 2013, and as a Nursing Assistant at Seniorcenter Bakkegården from June 2008 to August 2009.

Jacob Thulesius attended Växjö Katedralskola from 2006 to 2009, where they completed the Naturvetenskapliga programmet (Natural science programme). In 2009, they enrolled at Linnaeus University and studied Klassisk Sång (Classical Singing) and Musikteori (Music Theory) until 2010. Later, from 2012 to 2016, they attended Lund University and obtained a Juristexamen (Master of Laws, LLM). Concurrently, they also pursued an Ekonomie Kandidatexamen (Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics) from Lund University's School of Economics and Management, completing it in the same time period.
