Barrett Gobeyn

Barrett Gobeyn has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Barrett is currently working as the SVP, Chief Information & Security Officer at Alight Solutions. Prior to their current role, they served as the SVP, Chief Information Security Officer at UnitedHealthcare. Before joining UnitedHealthcare, Barrett worked at Discover Financial Services as the VP, Cybersecurity Services for a period of 14 years. Barrett also held the position of Information Security Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Director, Information Security at Aon. Barrett has a background in security operations as the Director, Security Operations at Internet Security Systems, Inc. Barrett began their career at Grant Thornton LLP (US) as an Information Security Manager and later worked at Accenture as a Senior Manager in Information Security.

Barrett Gobeyn obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Indiana University Bloomington from 1986 to 1991. Later, Barrett pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Northwestern University from 2016 to 2017.
