Colleen Hutchings

Colleen Hutchings MA has over 20 years of work experience in various leadership roles within the insurance, health, and consulting industries. Colleen has held positions such as Vice President and Head of Claim Operations at Alight Solutions, where they focused on implementing quality assurance practices and lean methodologies to improve operational service delivery. Colleen also served as Vice President of Canadian Operations at both Alight Solutions and ReedGroup, where they developed comprehensive operations strategies and played a key role in business development and client retention. Colleen has experience in organizational health and was the National Director of Organizational Health at Sun Life Financial and Morneau Shepell Ltd. Additionally, they have held positions at Manulife Financial, OrionHealth Rehabilitation & Assessment Centres, and YMCA Canada.

Colleen Hutchings MA has a Master's Degree in Disability Management from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), which they completed from 2004 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a BPE degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of New Brunswick, which they completed from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, Colleen has a certification as a Certified Consensus Based Disability Management Auditor (CBDMA) from the National Institute of Disability Management and Research (NIDMAR), which they obtained in 2015. Colleen is also currently pursuing a Six Sigma Green Belt Lean Management Systems certification.
