Lucy Weltner has held a variety of roles since 2014. Lucy began their career as a Writing Associate at Oberlin College, where they helped students revise drafts, clarify thesis statements, brainstorm ideas, and find reliable, secondary sources. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Math Teacher at Rumney Marsh Academy and a Leaders in Training Director at Wildwood: A Mass Audubon Camp for Outdoor Exploration. In 2019, they held roles as a Math and Science Teacher at Andover School of Montessori, a Software Engineering Student and Capstone Project at Flatiron School, a Head Naturalist at Mass Audubon, and a Mathematics Tutor at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Alignable.
Lucy Weltner earned their Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from Oberlin College in 2015, after attending from 2011 to 2015. Lucy then went on to earn their Master's degree in Middle School Mathematics Education from Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development in 2016.
