Andy Young

Andy Young has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Andy started their career as a Sales Representative at John H. Harland in 1986 and later worked as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at Marion Laboratories. Andy then joined Marion Merrell Dow as a Cardiovascular Sales Consultant and later became a Medical Science Liaison in Cardiology, Respiratory, and Neurology.

In 1995, Andy joined Sanofi as a Marketing Research Analyst before moving on to Teva Pharmaceuticals in 1998. At Teva Pharmaceuticals, they held various positions including leading the Neurology sales organization as an Area Sales Director, serving as the National Director for Neurology Professional Education & Research, and leading the US Field Medical Affairs team as the Senior National Director.

In 2017, Andy transitioned to CooperSurgical where they assumed the role of Vice President of Sales and Business Unit Manager for Women's Health. During their time at CooperSurgical, they were responsible for the successful integration and growth of the company's first pharmaceutical business acquisition and led a $200 million contraceptive device sales division.

Most recently, Andy joined Alimera Sciences in 2019 as the Vice President of Sales & Global Business Analytics.

Andy Young received their Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they attended from 1982 to 1986.
