Ashley Gantt

Ashley Gantt has extensive experience in the clinical research field. Ashley is currently working as the Director of Clinical Operations at Alimera Sciences. Prior to this role, they served as both a Senior Clinical Project Manager and a Clinical Project Manager at Samumed, LLC from 2018 to 2021. Before joining Samumed, LLC, they worked as a Clinical Project Manager at Alimera Sciences from 2017 to 2018. Ashley also gained experience as a Clinical Project Manager at Vapotherm in 2016. Ashley started their career as a Clinical Research Associate at Naurex, Inc/Aptinyx, Inc. from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator at Trident Institute of Medical Research in 2013. Additionally, they worked as a Research Specialist II (Clinical Research Coordinator) at the Medical University of South Carolina from 2011 to 2013 and as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the National Allergy, Asthma, and Urticaria Centers of Charleston from 2009 to 2011. Ashley began their career as a Research Specialist at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2008.

Ashley Gantt has a strong educational background in the field of science and research. Ashley obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in the year 2005. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the College of Charleston from 2006 to 2007. Continuing their education, Ashley attended Drexel University from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Research Organization and Management. Furthermore, they have additional certifications as a Certified Clinical Research Professional from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA).
