Iain Curtain

Iain Curtain has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Iain started their career in 1997 as a Business Data Analyst at Telecom New Zealand. Iain then worked as a Data Tester/Analyst at BP, a Finance Analyst at BBC, and a Financial Reporting Analyst/DBA at WorldCom.

In 2002, Iain joined Sun Microsystems, where they held roles as a Reporting Analyst and a Business Intelligence Developer. Iain was heavily involved in the development of financial reporting tools and dashboards using Hyperion BI toolset.

In 2010, Iain joined Oracle as a Business Intelligence Developer, before moving to Edgewater Ranzal in 2011. At Edgewater Ranzal, they worked as a Consultant, Senior Consultant, and eventually became a Project Lead.

In 2018, Iain joined Alithya as a Project Lead.

Iain Curtain holds a Master's degree in Technology Management from The Open University, completed from 2008 to 2014. Iain also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Law and Marketing from Victoria University of Wellington, completed from 1989 to 1992. Curtain attended Wellington College from 1984 to 1988, but the degree and field of study are unspecified. Additionally, they hold certifications from Oracle, including Oracle Cloud Customer Connect, Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service Specialist, Enterprise Performance Reporting 2016 Cloud Service Specialist, and Oracle Planning and Budgeting 2015 Cloud Service Specialist.
