Tjapko Scholten

Tjapko Scholten has a significant amount of work experience in finance and strategic planning. Tjapko started their career in 2006 as a Financial Management Trainee at Heineken International, where they worked on various projects related to acquisition tracking, costing analyses, and KPI dashboard development. Tjapko then took on roles as Controller Horeca Limburg and Controller Horeca Amsterdam before becoming a Business Analyst at Heineken International. In 2015, they joined BRAU UNION ÖSTERREICH AG, a subsidiary of Heineken, as the Director of Commercial Finance. In 2017, they moved to Heineken UK as the Director of Strategic Planning & Business Control. Currently, Tjapko serves as the CFO and Finance Director at Alken-Maes, starting in February 2022.

Tjapko Scholten completed their education with a Master's degree in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam, from 1998 to 2005. Tjapko later pursued an Executive Master of Finance and Control at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), graduating between 2009 and 2011. Additionally, they obtained a Post Master Degree in Controlling from Post Masters at VU University Amsterdam, but the specific month and year of attainment are not provided.
