Rohan Pillai

Rohan Pillai has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering. Rohan started their career as a Software Developer Intern at L&T Technology Services Limited in 2018, where they worked on incorporating a text auto-correction module and fabricating a satellite image classification module. In 2019, Rohan joined Samsung Electronics as a Software Engineer Intern, where they designed a framework for capturing audience inputs and implemented a Convolutional Neural Network for model training. Later that year, they worked as a Full Stack Developer Intern at Bombardier Inc., developing a self-service web application for employees. Currently, Rohan is working at Alkira, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they have integrated AWS EC2's BYOIP feature with Alkira CSX and spearheaded integrations with ServiceNow and Splunk. Rohan has also remodeled Alkira CSX's Aruba EdgeConnect Connector.

Rohan Pillai earned their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India in 2019. Rohan then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at North Carolina State University from 2019 to 2021. In May 2021, they obtained their Master of Computer Science certification from North Carolina State University. Additionally, they completed the Deep Learning - Summer Boot Camp in July 2020 and obtained certifications in AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native from Coursera in March 2020 and in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in February 2019.
