Shinae Woo

Shinae Woo has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. In 2010, they worked as a Software Engineer for NAVER Corp, where they developed proof-of-concept systems and conducted research on new technology trends. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Research Intern at Intel Labs, focusing on networking platforms. In 2017, Shinae worked as a Visiting Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied NFV and the challenges of elastic scaling. Shinae returned to Berkeley in 2015 for a brief period as a Visiting Researcher. Most recently, Shinae joined Alkira, Inc. in 2021 as a Software Engineer.

Shinae Woo completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology from 2004 to 2008. Shinae then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science, specializing in Networking Systems, at the same university from 2012 to 2017.
