About the role: We're looking for an Engineering Hiring Manager to help us better filter candidates from a technical standpoint. The ideal candidate is used to working in the Bay area, a startup environment, and deeply understands how to identify top engineering talent.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the Recruiting Team to source passive candidates through their involvement in OSS and technical communities, social media, and developer platforms.
  • Capable of assessing technical profiles and understanding of what they are doing by reviewing resumes and developer platforms such as Github.
  • Technical review of candidates, including preparing and reviewing task assignments.
  • Understand the business requirements and identify the hiring needs before they are present.
  • Work with the different Technical Stakeholders to understand their needs and draft job descriptions accordingly.
  • Represent the company with integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience coaching hiring managers and helping them develop strategic recruiting plans.
  • Passion and understanding of technology.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
