Irina Kasatkina

Irina Kasatkina has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Irina currently holds the position of Vice President, Head of Quality at Allakos Inc, a position they started in April 2023. Prior to this, from July 2021 to April 2023, they served as the Vice President of Quality at Pionyr Immunotherapeutics.

From October 2020 to July 2021, Irina was the Vice President of Quality at Dermira, Inc. Before that, they held the roles of Senior Director/Executive Director, Quality and Vice President Of Quality at the same company. In these positions, they were responsible for leading QA and QC teams and ensuring quality control processes for clinical and commercial drug substances and products.

From January 2015 to November 2019, Irina worked at Genentech, where they first served as the Head of Supply Chain Quality, US and later as the Director of Logistics Management and Trade Compliance, North America. During this time, they led the team responsible for quality oversight of Roche U.S. Affiliate, focusing on the distribution of products to the U.S. market.

Irina's career at Genentech began in 1992 and included positions such as Associate Director of Distribution Quality and various managerial roles in QA and manufacturing operations. In these roles, they were responsible for managing change control, investigations, lot release, complaint investigations, and biochemical operations.

Irina Kasatkina received their M.S. degree in Engineering and Food Science from the Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies. Irina attended the academy from 1985 to 1990.
