Melinda Varga

Melinda Varga is a seasoned data scientist and machine learning engineer with extensive experience in predictive modeling and algorithm development. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at AllazoHealth, Melinda has designed impactful models for therapy initiation and adherence. Previous roles include Machine Learning Engineer at PayPal, where improvements in user search algorithms enhanced clickthrough rates, and Applied Scientist at Bright Machines, where an image classification model achieved 99% accuracy in identifying manufacturing errors. Melinda's background includes research fellowships focusing on epigenetic models and convolutional neural networks, as well as postdoctoral research in computational biology. Melinda holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Notre Dame and dual degrees in Physics from Babes-Bolyai University.
