Doug Skiba is currently the Executive Vice President & CIO at Allegiance Bank. Doug was previously with Frost Bank from December 2008 to August 2019, where they were the EVP, IT Architecture & Strategy. Doug's responsibilities there included aligning technology investments with business strategy across all lines of business and shaping the bank's strategy for cloud computing adoption, service oriented architecture (SOA), legacy modernization, web/mobile application development, collaboration, and digital transformation.

Before joining Frost Bank, Doug Skiba was with Pearson from February 2006 to December 2008 as Senior Director Software Engineering. In this role, they were responsible for all web-based, B2C application and enterprise platform development by managing a 20-person R&D staff augmented by a 50+ person offshore development center based in India. Additionally, they were responsible for managing a $5+ million annual budget to cover development, maintenance, support and operations of responsible products and technologies. Technologies used during their time at Pearson included IBM Websphere Application Server, J2EE, Oracle, Linux, and Cognos.

Doug Skiba completed a BS in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University. Doug has certification from LinkedIn in Lean Six Sigma Foundations.
