Dan Martone

Exec. Director of Construction Services at Allen & Company

Dan Martone has proudly spent his entire professional career with Allen & Company, climbing through the ranks to achieve a place in the company’s executive team. After joining the firm in 1998, Dan progressed through a series of roles, excelling at every position assigned—including Rod Man, Instrument Man, Field Crew Chief, CADD Technician, Project Manager, and Division Leader.

Through his tenure at Allen & Company, Dan has developed a broad understanding for every step in the surveying process—specifically in the competencies of Land Surveying and Construction Surveying. Dan has also managed company projects in Barbados, Grand Bahama Island, and New Providence Island Bahamas, as well as throughout the Central Florida area. Thanks to his attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills, Dan has become an exceptional asset to every project assigned.

Dan has also lead our New Home Builder Services Division since its inception, to which Allen & Company attributes its success. As our client base in this discipline grew over the past two decades, the need for a dedicated team became clear and Dan—having built and lead teams previously—became the clear choice to guide the growth of our the Home Builder Services Division.

In this role, Dan started out with two initial clients, managing approximately 200 home starts in 2014. Since then, the Home Builder Services Division has grown to more than a dozen clients and Dan manages over 2,500 home starts per year. In 2019, Dan was asked to take on a leadership role for the Commercial Construction Services Division, performing Field Staking, Asbuilts, 3D Laser Scanning and 3D Modeling for general contractors and site contractors. His overall team is currently comprised of 13 project managers and CADD technicians and 8 field crews.

Dan’s growth over the past two decades with Allen & Company is largely attributed to his work ethic and the relationships he has developed with both coworkers and clients. His interpersonal and organizational skills keep projects moving effectively through the work spectrum, which translates into a team that feels accomplished and produces satisfied clients. In addition, Dan’s technical skills enhance the quality of the company’s service and has earned him respect from every team member.

Currently, Allen & Company has five service lines—of which Dan leads two. His experience and growth have earned him the opportunity to become a Team Leader and he continues to serve as a valuable asset to the company.
