Kaitlyn Casimo, PhD, MEd, currently serves as the Education and Engagement Manager at the Allen Institute, where responsibilities include leading institute-wide programs and managing a team focused on educational initiatives. Key projects include serving as Principal Investigator for an NSF grant evaluating the impact of open data on student experiences and co-leading a NIH initiative on scientific outreach. Prior roles encompass independent management of a high school and college education program, with a strong emphasis on curriculum development and classroom resources. As a former PhD candidate at the University of Washington, Kaitlyn conducted significant research on brain connectivity and published multiple peer-reviewed articles.
