Kate Rufener

Kate Rufener is an experienced instructional designer at AllenComm, where responsibilities include analyzing complex content and collaborating with clients and teams on design solutions. As the founder and head writer of The Reclaimers Podcast, Kate leads scriptwriting, production, and marketing efforts for a podcast focused on healing from abusive relationships. Additionally, Kate serves as an empowerment coach, mentoring creatives and entrepreneurs toward positive life changes and improved business systems. With a strong background in directing, Kate has helmed numerous productions across various theaters since 2001. Previous roles include faculty leader at Revolution Prep and community outreach coordinator at The Grand Theatre, where significant fundraising successes were achieved. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Utah and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Social Psychology at Ball State University.
