Erin Malawer

Erin Malawer has a long and varied work experience. Erin started their career as a Consultant for SpecTal in 2004, where they were engaged in sophisticated targeting operations. Erin then moved to SAIC in 2002, where they worked in both analysis and reporting of TS/SCI intelligence. In 2008, they became a Senior Consultant for DeepMile Networks, LLC, where they advised the executive team and assisted in establishing the Human Resources department. From 2010 to 2018, they were the Founder and Executive Director of AllergyStrong, a non-profit focused on helping underserved and at-risk families with food allergies. Erin was also the Founder of Allergy Shmallergy, an award-winning blog and brand. In 2019, they became a Founding Board Member of The Food Allergy Collaborative. In 2015, they became a Member of Children's National Medical Center's Food Allergy Task Force. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Food Allergy Columnist for Allergy & Asthma Today. In 2021, they became the Chief Executive Officer of AllergyHealth and the Head of public relations and patient communications for Allergenis.

Erin Malawer attended Emory University from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in French Language and Literature and Neuropsychology.
