Pieter Jan de Kam

Pieter Jan de Kam is an experienced professional in clinical development and pharmacology, currently serving as the Global R&D and Clinical Director at Allergy Therapeutics since September 2017, where responsibilities include leading a team of over 30 scientists and overseeing the global clinical program. Previously, Pieter held roles as Head of Clinical Development & Pharmacovigilance at HAL Allergy Group, Director of Clinical Research at MSD Pharma and Merck & Co. Inc., and worked as a freelance Senior Clinical Pharmacologist. With a strong foundation in statistics and clinical trials, Pieter has extensive expertise in managing early and late-phase clinical studies across various therapeutic areas. Academic credentials include a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Groningen and an MBA from the University of Groningen.
