Sajal Javid, SHRM-SCP, MSW, CDP has a diverse range of work experience in human resources and organizational development. From 2018 onwards, Sajal worked at the Alley Theatre as the Chief Human Resources & Culture Officer, leading various HR functions such as coaching, performance management, recruiting, compliance, and more. Sajal Javid has a diverse and extensive education history. Sajal obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Kinnaird College University. Sajal then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminal Justice from Oklahoma City University in 2003. In 2004, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Central Oklahoma with a focus on Training, Design, and Curriculum Development.

Continuing their educational journey, Sajal enrolled at Columbia University, earning a Master of Science in Social Work (Non-Profit Management) in 2013. During their time at Columbia, they also pursued a Minor in Organizational and Leadership Development from Columbia Business School.

In addition to their formal degrees, Sajal has acquired several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2018, they obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management). The same year, they also completed a Negotiations course at Columbia University School of Professional Studies. In 2019, they acquired the Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers certification from LinkedIn.
