Neil Bocalan

Neil Bocalan has over 20 years of work experience. Neil began their career in 1999 as a Stockroom Supervisor at Banana Republic. In 2004, they became a System Analyst at Stewart Title of California, where they were responsible for redesigning and maintaining the company's website, training employees on web-based software applications, and troubleshooting network problems. In 2005, they joined Acxiom Digital as an Application Support Engineer. In 2007, they became a Release Engineer at LinkedIn, where they were responsible for planning, coordinating, and manually deploying new code to the site. From 2008 to 2015, they worked at Acxiom in various roles, including SRE - Site Reliability Engineer / Cloud Platform Specialist, Senior IT Process Engineer / Change Manager, and Data Operations Engineer / Transitioning Release Manager. In 2015, they joined Allgress, Inc. as VP Technical Operations, where they built a team to support Allgress' hosting and cloud services business, owned the design and operation of the company's distributed infrastructure and systems, and was in charge of the company's evaluation, procurement, and integration of new technologies to the overall infrastructure. In 2017, they became an Investor at Cloud of Goods.

Neil Bocalan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University between 1998 and 2002. In 2013, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance. Neil also holds an ITIL Service Management - ITIL v3 Foundations certification from ITIL Foundation.
