Mary Fong Mw

Mary Fong MW has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Mary currently serves as the Head of Finance at Alliance Islamic Bank Berhad. Prior to this role, they held the position of Director at AllianceDBS Research. Mary also worked at Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad as the SVP Group Financial Controller. Before joining Alliance Bank, Mary worked at Citi as the Regional CTSM Finance Lead. Mary started their career at Al Rajhi Bank as the Head of Operations and Systems. Mary also had a long tenure at Citi, where they served as the Country Controller Group.

Mary Fong MW has a diverse education history. Mary completed their Capital Market Director Programme (CMDP) in 2023, where they specialized in Research and Investment Banking. Prior to that, in 2022, they obtained a Chartered Banker degree from The Chartered Banker Institute. Mary also holds a Fellowship from ACCA, which they completed in 2000, focusing on Accounting and Finance. In 1997, they achieved a Professional Qualification from ACCA, further specializing in Accounting and Finance. Before pursuing their professional qualifications, Mary completed their A Level in Accounting at Sri KDU Schools in 1992. Mary finished their secondary education at St. George's Girl School Penang from 1985 to 1989, focusing on Science.
