Guillermo Almonacid

Guillermo Almonacid is a Senior Data Engineering Manager at Santander UK since February 2016, leading data engineering teams of over 50 resources in the development and support of a petabyte-scale data ecosystem to enhance analytics and reporting across the organization. Prior to Santander, Guillermo served as a Business Analytics Senior Consultant at Indra, overseeing the Financial MI System for the Santander Group in multiple regions. Guillermo's earlier experience includes project leadership and functional analysis roles at Guadaltel, where the focus was on the environmental and public sectors, and a research assistant position at the University of Jaen. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Technology at Universidad de Jaén, Guillermo also holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla.
