Elizabeth Gebhardt

Elizabeth Gebhardt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of scholarly publishing. Currently serving as Senior Publications Program Manager at the Alliance of Crop, Soil and Environmental Science Societies since May 2006, Elizabeth manages relationships with approximately 300 editors and editorial board members, oversees journal performance using key performance indicators, and has successfully launched multiple journal titles. Previous roles include Managing Editor, where Elizabeth provided leadership in maintaining high-quality scholarly publications, and Associate Production Editor, focusing on design and production processes. Elizabeth's background also includes a role as Assistant Editor, where significant improvements in publication timelines were achieved. Prior to the current position, Elizabeth gained experience as a photographer at Empire Photography. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies with a concentration in communication from Green Mountain College and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Journalism and Rural Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
