Nivedita Mohanty

Nivedita Mohanty is the Chief Research Officer and Director of Evidence Based Practice at AllianceChicago. Nivedita previously worked as an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Science Foundation from September 2014 to August 2015. Prior to that, they were a research coordinator at Erie Family Health Center and a research assistant at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine.

Nivedita Mohanty completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Chicago. Nivedita then went on to earn their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Mercer University School of Medicine. Prior to medical school, they completed a bachelor's degree in biology and world religions at Wesleyan College. After medical school, they earned a Master of Science in healthcare quality and patient safety from Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine.
