Mike Wagner

Mike Wagner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community and economic development, as well as communications and media. Currently serving as the Community & Economic Development Manager at Alliant Energy since January 2017, Mike has also held roles as a spokesperson and senior communications partner. Prior to this, Mike worked at KCRG-TV9 from May 2006 to January 2017, where responsibilities included managing news operations as the Managing Editor. Mike's journalism career began at KCRG-TV9 as an Iowa City Reporter from 1991 to 2006. Mike holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
