Alan Aubin

IT Application Support Team Lead – Security at Allianz Life Ventures

Alan Aubin has a significant amount of work experience in the IT industry. Starting in 1986 as a Computer Operator at GTE Government Systems, they were responsible for backups, maintenance, and user support. In 1989, they became a System Administrator at Bowditch and Dewey, where they managed system integrity, user accounts, and network maintenance. From 1991 to 1994, they worked as a Programmer Analyst at arius, conducting programming, software support, and PC training. At CVS from 1994 to 1996, they served as an Associate Software Architect, leading projects and providing technical expertise for store-system applications. From 1996 to 2021, they held the role of IT Supervisor at ISO New England, overseeing application support and staff management. More recently, they held various roles related to IT application support and team leadership at ITR Group, Allianz Life, and finally, Allianz Technology, where they currently serve as the IT Application Support Team Lead for security. In this role, they manage work related to application vulnerability management and identity and access management, acting as a liaison between internal customers, management teams, and outsourcing partners.

Alan Aubin attended Quinsigamond Community College from 1983 to 1984, but it is unknown whether they obtained a degree or studied a specific field. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained various certifications from LinkedIn in subjects such as adopting elite performer habits, learning Azure DevOps, solving business problems, strategic thinking, upgrading confidence and courage at work, Microsoft Project for the Web reporting with Power BI, project management foundations, and the six biases of decision-making. The specific months of obtaining these certifications are not provided, but they were obtained between 2022 and 2024.
