Edouard Galicier

Edouard Galicier is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Data Officer for Benelux at Allianz since September 2022, Edouard has a proven track record in leadership roles at Aviva from July 2018 to September 2022, where responsibilities included CFO of Ireland General Insurance and Head of Business Performance. Prior to Aviva, Edouard held the position of VP Finance for the RBC Aviva Partnership in Canada and was the Head of M&A in Aviva's Group M&A division, where significant acquisitions and strategic initiatives were led. Earlier experience with UBS Investment Bank involved fixed income structuring and M&A activity. Edouard holds a Master in Science in Mathematics & Physics, Economics and Finance from École Polytechnique and a Master in Science in Operations Research - Financial Engineering from Columbia University, supplemented by participation in leadership programs such as the Next Generation Deloitte CFO program.
