Calum Sutherland

Calum Sutherland is currently a Field Sales Engineer at Allied Machine & Engineering, having joined the company in September 2023. Prior to this role, Calum accumulated extensive experience as a Manufacturing Engineer and Manufacturing Technician at Dril-Quip from April 2016 to September 2023, where responsibilities included creating manufacturing processes, engaging with suppliers for efficiency improvements, and achieving cycle time reductions. Earlier experiences include roles at Trace-A-Matic South as a CNC Machinist/Programmer/Toolmaker, and at Rolls-Royce as a Manufacturing Specialist in the R&D department. Additional positions spanned multiple organizations including Bi-FTV Ltd., Halliburton, and Forth Tool & Valve, all contributing to a solid foundation in CNC machining, programming, and quality control across various industries such as aerospace and power generation. Calum holds an EMTA Modern Apprenticeship in Manufacturing Engineering.
