Michael Burr

Michael Burr has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael began their career in 1989 at American Airlines, where they worked as a Captain. In 1998, they joined Wigwam Investment Group as a Treasurer, a position they held until 2010. From 2006, they served as the Treasurer for the Thomaston Republican Town Committee. In 2010, they transitioned to the Town of Thomaston CT, where they worked as a Project Manager until July 2021. Finally, in 2014, they became a Director at the Allied Pilots Association.

Michael Burr attended the NYS College of Ceramics at Alfred University from 1975 to 1979. Michael studied Ceramic Sciences and Engineering during their time there. In 1989, they obtained certification as an Airline Transport Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration.
