Asim Malik

Asim Malik has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Asim currently holds the position of Head of IT Risk, Strategy, Vendor Management, and Finance at Allied World. Prior to this, Asim served as a Member of The Board of Advisors at ThinkRisk. Asim also gained valuable experience at Nexient, where they held the positions of General Manager, Northeast and VP - Client Partner. As General Manager, Northeast, Asim was responsible for customer relationships, business development, and delivery for the region, achieving significant portfolio growth. As VP - Client Partner, they successfully led the turnaround of the company's sales and account management efforts. Earlier in their career, Asim held roles at Citco Fund Services, Barclays Investment Bank, Citi, Dow Jones, and Capgemini, where they demonstrated their expertise in development management, program management, and client relationship management.

Asim Malik holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology, University of Mumbai, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. Asim also completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Management Studies (PGCMS) in Business Management from U21 Global Graduate School, during the period of 2008 to 2009. In terms of additional certifications, Asim obtained the following: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2022, Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist and Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2020, Claritas Investment Certificate (ID: 8203786) from CFA Institute in 2015, ITIL Foundation from Loyalist Certification Authority in 2012, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in December 2010, Six Sigma Black Belt and Six Sigma Green Belt from Patni Computer Systems Ltd. in 2004 and 2002 respectively, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in November 2022.
