L. Pearce McCarty

L. Pearce McCarty III MD, MBA is a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon and healthcare executive. Currently serving as the Lead of Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Surgery at Allina Health, L. Pearce is also the Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. With a background in complex shoulder and elbow procedures, Dr. McCarty is also the Co-Founder and CEO of a health information technology software company. Additionally, L. Pearce has served as a team physician for the Minnesota Twins and has been involved in various orthopedic consulting roles throughout their career. Dr. McCarty holds an MBA from Duke University, BA in English and American Literature from Brown University, and MD from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.
