Matt Curtolo

Matt Curtolo has extensive experience in the investment industry, with a focus on private equity and venture capital. Matt is currently the Head of Investments at Allocate, where they lead the firm's investment efforts and chairs the Investment Committee. Prior to this, Matt served as a Director of Private Equity at MetLife, where they oversaw domestic private equity activity and originated new investment opportunities. Before that, they were the Head of Private Equity at Hirtle, Callaghan & Co., where they were responsible for building and managing a world-class private equity portfolio. Matt began their career at Hamilton Lane, where they held various roles within the client service and investment teams.

Matt Curtolo, CAIA holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance & Professional Communication from DeSales University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended Bangor High School in Bangor, PA from 1996 to 2000. Matt has also obtained additional certifications such as the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) from CAIA Association® in 2013, and the Investment Adviser Representative (IAR) from FINRA in 2011. Additionally, they have completed online courses such as Model Thinking and Foundations of Business Strategy from Coursera in 2014 and 2013 respectively.
