Vishnu Sunkavalli

Vishnu Sunkavalli has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 1998, they began their career at Fujitsu Network Communications as a Software Engineer, working on various projects involving SONET/DWDM/Fiber channel, ATM switching, and call processing. Vishnu later transitioned to a QA Lead role and gained experience in QA tools, scripting, and real-time embedded systems. In 2002, they joined Spirent Communications as a Senior Systems Engineer, responsible for selling Spirent Test Center products in the North Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana regions. Vishnu eventually became a Senior Systems Engineer covering the central US, selling a range of products including Abacus, Avalanche, and Packet brokers. Additionally, they worked as a Lead QA Engineer, building a QA team and testing routing protocols and automation techniques. In 2011, Vishnu moved to NetScout Systems as a Senior SE, primarily focusing on pre-sales and post-sales activities for the service provider business, covering Central and Eastern United States. Vishnu designed and deployed solutions for various service providers and datacenters. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Sales Engineering at Allot, starting in 2022.

Vishnu Sunkavalli's education history includes a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science, specifically in the field of networks and communications, which they obtained from The University of Texas at Dallas from 1998 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Osmania University, where they attended from 1993 to 1997.
