Ruza Markov

Ruza Markov is an accomplished Senior R&D Engineer currently employed at Alloy Enterprises Inc since May 2023. Previously, Ruza worked as a Senior Research Engineer at Unity Technologies from September 2020 to April 2023, focusing on innovative projects in 3D object variation and photogrammetry. Between December 2019 and September 2020, Ruza served as a Senior Computational Geometry Engineer at Riven, and held the same title at Otherlab from December 2016 to October 2019, contributing to projects such as SoftCAD and SoFix. Ruza’s earlier experience includes a senior role at Plethora, where geometric solutions for automated manufacturing were developed. Ruza also has a strong academic background, culminating in a PhD in Physics from UC Berkeley, where research on string theory and topological field theories was conducted, along with a role as a Lecturer. Additional expertise in software development was gained at Mixamo and through consulting projects. Ruza holds a BS in Physics and Theoretical Math from MIT.
