Srinjoy Chakraborti

Srinjoy Chakraborti, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical research and microbiology. Srinjoy is currently working as a Principal Scientist - TCR Engineering at Keyway TCR Discovery in Alloy Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as a Scientist - Antibody Engineering at Scholar Rock from 2020 to 2022.

Srinjoy also has experience working at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where they served as a Damon Runyon Sohn Pediatric Cancer Research Fellow from 2018 to 2020 and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from 2017 to 2018. During their time there, they focused on peptide-Class I Human Leukocyte Antigen (pHLA-I) Complexes and T-cell receptor (TCR) cross-reactivity.

Before joining Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Srinjoy was a Graduate (PhD) Student at the University of Massachusetts Medical School from 2010 to 2017. Their research during this time involved studying Neisserial biology and the activation of complement pathways in relation to Neisseria gonorrhoeae, as well as validating potential vaccine antibodies and characterizing therapeutic antibodies.

Earlier in their career, Srinjoy worked as an Instructor and Clinical Microbiologist at Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute Of Medical Sciences from 2009 to 2010, teaching medical students and conducting clinical investigations. Srinjoy also served as a Graduate (M.Sc.) trainee in Clinical Microbiology at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore from 2005 to 2008, where they focused on identifying pathogens in clinical specimens and studying antibiotic resistance in Staphylococcus aureus.

Srinjoy Chakraborti, PhD has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from UMass Chan Medical School, which was obtained between 2010 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Medical Microbiology from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, from 2005 to 2008. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, General from Bharati Vidyapeeth, completed from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, they hold a certification in Mini-MBA: BioPharma Innovation from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, obtained in 2023.
