Matthew Skipsey

Matthew Skipsey has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Matthew began their career at Comm21 as a Software Developer, where they developed a CRM system for the company. Matthew then joined Wessex Internet as a Co-founder and Technical Director, playing a key role in building a successful broadband network. Later, they joined M12 Solutions as an IT Manager and Technical Sales Manager, where they contributed to the establishment of the company as a challenger B2B ISP and secured major contracts. At Giganet, Matthew served as Co-founder, CTO, and Head of Giganet, leading the design and maintenance of a carrier-grade network. Most recently, they transitioned to AllPoints Fibre Networks as the Network Strategy Director, overseeing the consolidation of multiple fibre companies.

Matthew Skipsey completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Bristol between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they attended Sherborne School from 2001 to 2006, where they focused on Physics, Electronics, Maths, and Business Studies. Their earlier education was at Port Regis from 1995 to 2001.
