Unai Arrieta Begiristain

Unai Arrieta Begiristain has held various software development roles since 2016. In 2016, they were an intern at CIC Energigune, where they conducted computational calculations with VASP for the analysis of new materials in electrochemical batteries, resulting in a publication in Nature: Scientific Reports. In 2018, they were an intern at CT ingenieros, where they designed and implemented an Industry 4.0 project, including low-level programming of an ARM microprocessor using real-time operating systems. That same year, they joined IRISBOND as a software developer, where they developed an eye-tracking SDK for an embedded system with Buildroot and C++ in Linux, as well as communications TCP/IP and UDP in Linux and Windows. In 2021, they joined Blue Telecom Consulting (BlueTC®) as a SW Design Engineer for 5G, where they worked on microservices design and implementation, and development of unit and functional test cases, as well as code performance, stability and robustness analysis. Finally, they are currently a Senior Software Developer at AllRead.

Unai Arrieta Begiristain completed their Grado in Física from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea between 2013 and 2017. Unai then obtained a Máster degree in Modelling for Science and Engineering from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2018. In 2021, they obtained a Machine Learning certification from Coursera in November and a Computer Vision I certification from OpenCV in February.
