Joshua Gewirtz

Joshua Gewirtz has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Joshua started their career at Empire BC in 1989, where they worked in various roles including underwriting, systems support, and customer service. As a Manager, they led a department responsible for executing the company's IT strategy for claims and customer service operations.

In 1998, Joshua joined Emblem Health, Inc as a Group Manager, overseeing the Enterprise Data Warehouse team. Joshua successfully managed a team of 40 professionals and delivered data warehouse tools and models with a budget of over $5 million. Joshua was also responsible for establishing the strategy and blueprint for the development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

In 2008, Joshua became an Independent Consultant at Health Care Venture. Joshua'srole primarily involved assisting a solutions architect in completing a healthcare venture, focusing on billing, CCHIT certified provider systems, claims processing, and cleaning. Joshua actively collected information, analyzed potential markets, and monitored the healthcare political environment.

Since 2010, Joshua has been with Allscripts, initially starting as a Project Manager and later progressing to the role of Senior Project Manager. Currently, they serve as a Project Director, taking the lead in overseeing project management activities.

With a wealth of experience in project management, data warehouse management, and IT strategy, Joshua Gewirtz has demonstrated their expertise and adaptable skills across various companies in the healthcare industry.

Joshua Gewirtz attended Antioch College from 1985 to 1988, where they received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
