Mark Thornton has a diverse work experience in sales and business development roles. Mark started their career at American HealthNet as a Vice President of Sales and Business Development and worked there for six years. Mark then moved on to Quick Study Radiology, where they served as a Vice President of Business Development for one year. After that, they joined Eclipsys Corporation as a Senior Sales Director for a little over a year. Mark then joined TELCOR, Inc. as the Vice President of Sales Revenue Cycle Management for two and a half years. Following that, they worked as a Regional Vice President of Business Development at Prognosis Health Information Systems for two years. Mark then took up a role as a Regional Sales Director at Ensocare for a year. Currently, they are working as the Director of Sales, Population Health at Allscripts.
Mark Thornton completed their education with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Western Carolina University, where they studied from 1976 to 1979. Later, from 1983 to 1985, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Healthcare at the University of New Haven.
