Aalok Sood

Aalok Sood has been working in the technology industry since 2006. Aalok began their career at Ittiam Systems, where they served as an Engineer, working on a Speech codec (iLBC), Windows CE for Video Phone, Adaptive Jitter Buffer (AJB) in CNG scenario, and NOR flash driver for Windows CE Video Phone. In 2010, they joined Calm.io as a Senior Member Technical Staff and was involved in the inception, design of various features and implementation of the backend (Python) for their workflow run book automation application. In 2015, they co-founded Procurehp, where they built an application (written in Python) to connect civil works contractors to material depots. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Allstacks as a Backend Engineer.

Aalok Sood completed their B TECH in Electronics and Communication from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli in 2006. During their studies, they also completed a summer research project at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in 2005.
