Lloyd Harris

Lloyd Harris has over 10 years of work experience in data strategy and management. Lloyd currently holds the position of Head, Data Platforms and Analytics Enablement at Allstate Canada, where they are responsible for overseeing data platforms and enabling analytics capabilities. Prior to their current role, Lloyd worked at TD Bank as a Senior Manager, Data Strategy, where they managed a cross-functional agile team and implemented a big data platform for clean data access. Lloyd also served as a Delivery Manager, leading the development of a trading book and hierarchy data management system. Before joining TD, Lloyd was an Associate Director, Risk and Operations IT at RBC Capital Markets, where they led development teams and implemented reference data platforms integrated with front and back office systems. Lloyd also played a key role in rolling out a global client onboarding system.

Lloyd Harris has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from York University and a Master of Arts in International Economics from Carleton University. Lloyd also holds certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional Scrum Master, obtained in 2013 and 2017 respectively. In addition, they have a certification as a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) obtained in 1999.
