John Dugenske

President, Investments at Allstate

John Dugenske is president, Investments. He is responsible for the company's investment portfolio, financial products, strategy and business transformation.

Dugenske joined Allstate in 2017 as executive vice president and chief investment officer. His role later expanded to chief corporate strategy officer. Before joining Allstate, Dugenske was group managing director and global head of Fixed Income at UBS Asset Management, where he oversaw more than $200 billion in assets. Before UBS, Dugenske was head of European and Middle East Fixed Income at Neuberger Berman (formerly Lehman Brothers Asset Management). He started his career as a portfolio manager at NISA Investment Advisors.

Dugenske is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering, as well as Master of Business Administration, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
