Donna Crabtree

Donna Crabtree, PhD has a diverse background in the field of biotechnology and research. Donna began their career as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, focusing on molecular mechanisms related to Parkinson's disease. Donna then moved on to be a Postdoctoral Researcher at Duke University Health System before becoming a Research Program Leader at Duke University School of Medicine. In 2021, Donna joined Locus Biosciences, Inc. as a Clinical Project Manager, where they managed projects utilizing CRISPR-Cas3 technology. Currently, Donna is working as an Associate Project Director at Allucent, where they are focused on harmonizing company workflows in various therapeutic areas.

Donna Crabtree earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology and Chemistry with a minor in Spanish from Murray State University in 2006. Donna went on to receive their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pathology/Neuropathology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012.
