Ing. Christian Aquilina

Ing. Christian Aquilina has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and responsibilities. Their most recent position was as the Sr. Director of Product Management at Alludo, where they focused on rethinking and improving the work landscape. Prior to that, Ing. Aquilina worked at Parallels as the Director of Product Management, leading a team of Sales Engineers across EMEA. Ing. Christian was responsible for developing sales engineering processes and standards while also providing technical expertise and support to sales teams, partners, and customers. Before their time at Parallels, Ing. Aquilina worked at Computime Limited as a Senior Systems Engineer and a Systems Engineer, where they gained expertise in systems solutions, virtualization, and mobility based solutions. Ing. Christian started their career at EF Education First as an Activities Coordinator and Organizer, where they organized various social events and managed promotional materials.

Ing. Christian Aquilina completed their education at the University of Malta. Ing. Christian obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (B.Sc. IT HONS) with a focus on Communications and Computer Engineering from 2005 to 2009. Ing. Christian later pursued an Executive Masters of Business Administration (M.BA.) in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from 2013 to 2016 at the same university.

In addition to their formal education, Aquilina has achieved several certifications. These include the Parallels RAS Sales Professional (RAS-SP) and Parallels RAS Technical Professional (RAS-TP) from Parallels, obtained in January 2016. Ing. Christian also holds an Engineering Warrant from the Ministry for Transport and Infrastructure, obtained in July 2015.

Furthermore, Aquilina has certifications from Citrix, including the Citrix Certified Professional - Mobility (CCP-M) obtained in May 2014, and the Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V) obtained in September 2013. Ing. Christian has a certification in HP AIS - StorageWorks Integration from HP, obtained in May 2013. Moreover, they hold the Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE) certification from Citrix, obtained in March 2013. Lastly, Aquilina obtained a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification from Microsoft in November 2011.
