Nicola Sweeney

Nicola Sweeney is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in transformational leadership and operational management within major events and sports. Currently serving as the Transformation Director - People at Allwyn UK since July 2022, Nicola is instrumental in preparing the organization for the transition to operator of the 4th Licence of the National Lottery. Previously, as Director of HR Operations at Chanzo from August 2013 to February 2024, Nicola developed innovative HR solutions for various organizations, including significant projects for Expo 2020 Dubai and the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Additional roles include Director of International HR for Ashgabat2017, Head of HR Operations for the Baku 2015 European Games, and various HR positions at Marks and Spencer, demonstrating a comprehensive background in recruitment, workforce management, and strategic HR planning. Nicola holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Southampton.
