Basim Jazzar

Basim Jazzar is an accomplished logistics professional with extensive experience in management, customs clearance, and freight forwarding. Since November 2016, Basim has held the position of Deputy COO and General Manager for the Western Region at Almajdouie Logistics, previously serving as Customs & Clearance Manager in the Western Area. Prior to this role, Basim was the COO of Portrex Logistics and served as Freight Forwarding and Clearance Manager at Hala Supply Chain Services, where responsibilities included developing annual plans and budgets. Basim's career began at the United Arab Shipping Company as an Export Supervisor, focusing on overseeing export shipments. Educationally, Basim holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Marine Science from King AbdulAziz University, obtained between 1992 and 1997.
