Saud Abbasi

Saud Abbasi has an extensive and diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Saud is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Almajdouie Motors since August 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Automotive Strategy & Transformation at Al Futtaim Automotive from January 2021 to August 2021.

From 2016 to 2020, Abbasi held the position of Managing Director for Toyota at AL FUTTAIM MOTORS COMPANY and before that, they served as the Managing Director for Lexus from 2015 to 2016.

Abbasi's earlier experience includes serving as the General Manager for Lexus at Al Futtaim Motors from 2010 to 2014, overseeing the Lexus operations in the United Arab Emirates.

Before joining Al Futtaim Motors, they worked as the Senior General Manager for the Lexus Division at Abdul Latif Jameel Company (ALJ) in Saudi Arabia from 2007 to 2010, handling import, distribution, brand management, and sales support functions.

Abbasi also played a key role in establishing the first dedicated Marketing team for Lexus in Saudi Arabia while serving as the General Manager for Marketing from 2005 to 2007.

Saud began their career at Ford Motor Company Canada as a Brand Manager from 2000 to 2005 and earlier served as a Credit Analyst at Ford Motor Credit Company from 1995 to 1998.

Saud Abbasi pursued their secondary education at Continental School in Jeddah. Saud achieved their IGCSE degree from this institution, completing their studies between 1982 and 1990. Following this, Abbasi joined The American University in Cairo and pursued a degree in Business & Economics. Saud enrolled at the university from 1990 to 1994, earning their bachelor's degree. Later, Abbasi attended the Ivey Business School at Western University between 1998 and 2000, where they attained their MBA degree.
