Natanael Guerra is an engineer at Almanac. Natanael previously worked as the Chief Javascript Architect at mobi from February 2018 to April 2022. In this role, they helped on the internationalization of multiple legacy systems, created development tools, adjusted NGINX configurations, and leveraged their experience with Linux to automate and speed up development tasks. Natanael also worked with the BI team to collect insightful data and built up a small collection of internal tooling and automation that saved time in routine tasks and reduced human error.

Natanael dedicated a long time to maintaining Typescript NodeJS based backed microservices, adding new APIs, migrating over thousands of tests to TypeMoq, making adjustments to the Gitlab based CI, and instrumenting those systems with Jaeger and careful logging. Natanael also had the opportunity to work on one of the company's most critical applications, written in C++. This was their first professional experience with the language but they had a very good time and made some minor contributions to oatpp-swagger. Natanael also added more months to their Kubernetes, GKE, and GCP professional experience by making a Keda based autoscaling strategy for some applications that were being redesigned.

Most recently, Natanael implemented several work queues using solely PostgreSQL, C++ and NodeJs. Natanael wrapped up their work time by handing over the tools they built internally.
