Charlie Wolpensinger

Charlie Wolpensinger, CIH, CHMM, currently serves as the Associate Director of Environmental, Health & Safety at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since April 2022. Previously, Charlie held the position of Sr. Manager of Environmental Health & Safety at Noramco™ Coventry LLC from January 2021 to April 2022. Before that, a tenure at Purdue Pharma L.P. - Rhodes Technologies included roles such as Manager, Occupational Health & Safety, and various positions in occupational health and safety from January 2011 to December 2020. Charlie's career began at Progenics Pharmaceuticals from February 2005 to December 2010, advancing through several health and safety roles. Initial experience was gained as an Environmental Health and Safety Technician at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory from October 2003 to February 2005. Charlie holds a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Science from New York Medical College and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental from the University at Buffalo.
